Mariah Carey Helps Announce 2013 VH1 Save The Music Foundation's Ambassador Class

Twitter.com/Mr_DupriMariah Carey is raising awareness of VH1 Save The Music Foundation's 2013 activity by promoting a social media campaign called “Pass the Note.” Past and present ambassadors for the program are working together to generate followers for @vh1savethemusic and to get #PassTheNote trending nationally.

Joining Mariah for its 2013 ambassador class are Matchbox Twenty, B.o.B., Andy Grammer, Ingrid Michaelson, Robin Thicke, LeAnn Rimes and New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist. An announcement about the initiative was made by Andy on VH1’s Big Buzz Live! Wednesday.

The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in America’s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music in each child’s life.
