"Nashville" Couple Set for Grand Ole Opry Debut

ABC/Craig SjodinNashville stars Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio will make their Grand Ole Opry debut this Saturday at the Opry's winter home, the Ryman Auditorium. Clare and Sam play Scarlett O'Connor and Gunnar Scott on the ABC show, both employees of Music City's famed Bluebird Café.

The couple has two duets on the Nashville soundtrack, "If I Didn't Know Better" and "When the Right One Comes Along." It's set to be released by Big Machine Records on December 11.

Charles Eston, who portrays Deacon Claybourne on the hit show, made his first Opry appearance last weekend. No word on when series star Connie Britton will make her "real-life" Opry debut, though she was spotted at Darius Rucker's recent Opry induction.

The Opry is owned by the newly-named Ryman Hospitality Properties, also one of the producers of the show.
