New R.E.M. Video Stars Lindsay Lohan, Was Directed by James Franco

The clip, directed by fellow actor James Franco, is for the song "Blue," which appeared on the now-defunct band's final album -- 2011's Collapse into Now.  The video features dark, blurry and distorted images of Los Angeles, including of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Roosevelt Hotel and the city's ever-present traffic.

Lohan pops up two minutes and 20 seconds into the clip, wearing a sexy black dress for a photo shoot.

Franco made the video as part of a project that will see each song on the Collapse into Now album transformed into a short film.  In addition to "Blue," the actor is expected to direct a clip for the tune "That Someone Is You."
