Taylor Swift's latest release, Red, just can't be stopped. The album has sold almost 2.8 million copies around the world since it came out October 22. Red is now in its third consecutive week at the top of the Billboard 200 chart with more than 1.8 million albums sold in the U.S. alone.
Red has now topped the charts in 42 countries around the world, and the new sales have pushed Taylor's career record sales past the 26 million mark. She also has sold 75 million song downloads since her 2006 debut.
In other Taylor news, she was spotted sporting pink hair and wearing cut-off shorts and a leather jacket for her "I Knew You Were Trouble" video shoot Sunday night in Los Angeles after the American Music Awards. According to E! Online, Taylor cuddled with actor Reeve Carney -- who plays the title role in the Broadway musical Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark -- on a balcony as part of the clip.
Following her win at the AMAs, Taylor tweeted, "I went straight from the awards to a night video shoot. Long day but so worth it."
