Here's some great news for Peter Frampton fans. The veteran guitar whiz is offering special packages bundling together his new concert video and his three-CD set capturing performances from his recent tours celebrating the 35th anniversary of his classic 1976 album Frampton Comes Alive!, as well other goodies.
Three separate "Fanpacks" are available for purchase now. "Super Fanpack A" includes the FCA! 35 Tour: An Evening with Peter Frampton CD set, a digital download of the same collection, a choice of either the double-DVD or the Blu-ray version of the FCA! 35 Tour video, an autographed photo book and either a red or a black Frampton T-shirt. "Super Fanpack B" is the same as "Super Fanpack A," except that it includes a cream-colored Frampton T-shirt with a different design than the red and black shirts. Lastly, there's "Fanpack C," which boasts the same items as the Super Fanpacks, minus the T-shirts. The packages range in price from $59.98 to $74.98.
In other Frampton news, the rocker has revealed that during Christmastime, he's planning to work on new material with his son Julian, who is featured singing two tunes on the FCA! 35 Tour video.
"I'm really looking forward to doing this," writes Peter on his Facebook page. "It's hard to find the words to describe the feeling of making music with one of my children. He's a great writer, singer, musician and keeps me on my toes. I can't wait."
Previously, Julian and his dad co-wrote a song called "Road to the Sun" that appears on Frampton's 2010 album, Thank You Mr. Churchill. The younger Frampton also contributed lead vocals to the track.
