Adam Lambert Says New Video Puts a "Nice Twist" on His Single

RCA Records/19 EntertainmentAdam Lambert's new video for "Better Than I Know Myself" was supposed to premiere January 30, the day after the singer's 30th birthday, but it's now been pushed to Friday.  In behind-the-scenes footage posted on Vevo, Adam talks about what inspired the song.

"Sometimes, you screw up or you say something that hurts your partner's feelings or you haven't been supportive," he explains.  "This song basically owns that, says, 'Look I'm sorry that sometimes I'm not perfect but without you, I don't know what I would do with myself.  I need you because you are the only person that knows me better that I know myself.'"

Adam worked closely with the video's director on the concept and the look of the clip.  He says, "I think what we came up with was a nice twist on the song.  I think when viewers see the video they'll look at the lyrics even, a little bit differently than they may have first considered them."

"Better Than I Know Myself" is the first single from Adam's new album Trespassing, which is coming out in March.
