Adam Levine Books Media Blitz; Will Appear in MTV Special "It Gets Better"
PressHereNow.comAdam Levine is launching a full-scale media blitz, all in the name of reminding folks that the new season of The Voice kicks off Sunday night. Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET, he'll appear on VH1's NFL Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam, singing "Stereo Hearts" with Gym Class Heroes. That same night, he'll also appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for an interview. Friday morning, Adam pops up on NBC's Today show, where he'll discuss The Voice and again perform "Stereo Hearts" with Gym Class Heroes.
In a non-Voice related TV appearance, Adam will also appear, via video, in the upcoming MTV special It Gets Better, which focuses on three young people who are struggling with LGBT issues. Adam, whose brother is gay, is one of many celebrities to make a video last year for the It Gets Better Project which seeks to prevent suicides among gay youth by having adults send messages of encouragement.
In addition to Adam, the special also features actor Zachary Quinto, comedian Margaret Cho, transgendered Dancing with the Stars contestant Chaz Bono and Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino. Anchored by Dan Savage, who launched the It Gets Better Project in 2010, the one-hour special premieres February 21 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
