Open-Casket Photo of Whitney Houston Sparks Anger, Questions

WhitneyHouston.comA photo of Whitney Houston's open casket appears on the cover of this week's issue of the National Enquirer, and now some people are saying that the tabloid has gone too far.  The unauthorized picture is accompanied by the headline "Whitney: The Last Photo," and shows Houston lying in a gold coffin, wearing a purple dress, a broach and earrings.  According to the UK's Daily Mail, the Enquirer claims that the picture was taken during the private viewing at a Newark, New Jersey, funeral home last Friday, on the evening before Houston's funeral.  The picture was published without a photo credit.

On Twitter, users reacted to news of the Enquirer cover.  One person wrote, "The National Enquirer Has Whitney Houston's Open Casket Photo...Can't Let The Singer Have Any Privacy Even In Death... Just Sad."  Others took to Twitter to speculate on who might have taken the photo.
