Tyler Perry Has the Perfect Role for a Certain Music Star

RBP ConcertsFrom Janet Jackson to Jill Scott -- director Tyler Perry has worked with a couple of music's biggest names, and he's not done.  Tyler -- whose new movie Good Deeds hit theaters on Friday -- says his dream is to work with Diana Ross.  "I have the perfect role for her," Tyler tells Hollyscoop.  "And I haven't shot that movie yet because I'm waiting for her to say yes."

So what would the film be about?  Tyler says, "It's a jazz movie set in the 1940s, and [Diana Ross] would play a jazz singer who runs a juke joint, and I just wish she would do it."  Back in 1999, Diana starred in the movie Double Platinum, alongside Brandy.
