Dierks Bentley Playing Sold-Out Club Shows for "Home" Album Launch This Week
Capitol NashvilleDierks Bentley has booked a few club shows this week as part of promotional events surrounding his new album, Home, in stores Tuesday. Dierks appears on CBS's Late Show with David Letterman Wednesday, and then that night he's performing songs from the new project at New York City's Bowery Ballroom. He'll follow it up with a show at Joe's Bar in Chicago on Thursday
"The album launch, it only happens once every two or three years," Dierks says of the club shows. "So, it's such a special thing. You want to include your fans on it in as many ways as possible."
The club shows have been selling out very quickly since they're much smaller than the venues Dierks normally plays. He tells ABC News Radio, "It's really fun for our fans and kind of a fun thing to do around the release and just share the excitement that we have as a band and that our fans hopefully have about this album coming out."
Dierks is also set to present a trophy on the Grammy Awards this Sunday. He'll perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on February 15 too.
