Anthony Hamilton Dresses Up for "Esquire's" Songwriting Challenge

Facebook.com/AnthonyHamiltonAnthony Hamilton recently took Esquire up on its 2012 songwriting challenge, which had him writing and recording an original song inspired by the phrase "Pacific Standard Time."

Hamilton is one of five musical acts to get in on the project, which included a trip to California's Coachella Valley where the artists shot music videos for their respective tracks.  In keeping with Esquire's tradition of showcasing mens' fashion, Hamilton slipped into some designer duds for his special video shoot.

Photos from the set show him wearing a mohair suit by Gucci and linen trousers by Dolce & Gabbana, among other outfits.

"And I know you've been patient, and I know you've been scared, but just hold on, it won't be long," Anthony sings in the visual for the track he crafted, titled "Home by Five."  The full song is available on iTunes, and sales benefit non-profit group Big Brothers Big Sisters.
