Montgomery Gentry's Troy Gentry Reacts to CMT Music Awards Nomination

Average Joe'sMontgomery Gentry was thrilled to learn about their CMT Music Awards nomination for Duo Video of the Year category for "Where I Come From."  The clip was shot in the California desert and pays tribute to the U.S. service men and women and the towns where they come from.

"We are so thankful for the amazing response this song has received," says the duo's Troy Gentry.  "Eddie and I have always sang songs that are close to our hearts and this nomination for such a powerful video makes us proud.” 

"Where I Come From" is included on Montgomery Gentry's latest album, Rebels on the Run.

Voting for the 2012 CMT Music Awards is now live at CMT.com.  The show broadcasts live on CMT and CMT.com on Wednesday, June 6 at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT.
