A very svelte Janet Jackson stepped out in New York City on Thursday night, attending the Marco Glaviano "Supermodels" gallery opening, according to Vibe.
In addition to talking about her success through the Nutrisystem weight loss program, which she promotes, Janet also dished to Vibe about a couple of her upcoming projects. Yes, she may release some new music, but tells Vibe, "Exactly when, I don’t know... I'm still in the beginning stages of putting it together and concepts."
Janet also has a plan to get her hand in some movie projects, but it's probably not in the way her fans might expect. The singer, whose acting has taken her from the television show Good Times to the Tyler Perry-directed movie For Colored Girls, tells Vibe, "I'm gonna start producing films." Janet says she did a deal with the independent film studio Lionsgate last year, explaining, "it's something I've always wanted to do. I'm finally getting around to the things I've wanted to do."
As for what exactly the Lionsgate deal entails, Janet isn't revealing just yet. "Nothing’s etched in stone. I just know it’s gonna be intriguing," she tells Vibe.
