Justin Timberlake Pays Tribute to Robin Gibb

Jive RecordsJustin Timberlake has paid tribute to Bee Gees member Robin Gibb, who died Sunday at the age of 62.

Justin had a unique connection to Robin.  He portrayed the late singer on the recurring Saturday Night Live sketch “The Barry Gibb Talk Show” alongside Jimmy Fallon, who played Gibb’s brother, Barry.

Justin tweeted, “We have lost a truly brilliant musician today. One of my idols. My heart goes out to the Gibb family in this time of sorrow...RIP Robin.”

Fallon has also saluted Robin Gibb via Twitter, writing, “So happy that I got to tell Robin Gibb in person how much I loved him. He was a funny guy with an amazing voice. RIP our brother.”
