Report: Houston Family in Dust Up with Ray J at "Billboard" Music Awards

Facebook.com/RayJBobbi Kristina touched some hearts at the Billboard Music Awards accepting an honor for her late mom Whitney Houston, but according to reports a feud between Whitney's family and the singer's former boyfriend Ray J made for some less-than-touching pre-ceremony moments. 

According to a source cited by E! Online, when the family noticed Ray in the same seating area simmering tensions boiled over to the point of police being called.

A rep for the Houston family denies the report saying it was "completely untrue" that the family tried to have Ray J detained.

But E! quotes another source as saying the account was "100 percent" correct adding that the Houstons, particularly Whitney's sister-in-law and manager Pat Houston, wanted Ray J out of sight.  Recently, Ray denied accusations lobbed by Bobby Brown's sister, Leolah Brown, that Ray may have provided the late singer with the drugs that contributed to her death on February 11.

Another source told E! that Ray J was asked to move by Billboard staffers but only because he was in the wrong seat.

Ray J had no comment about the matter for E!.
