Trace Adkins Puckers Up With Next Single

Show Dog/UniversalTrace Adkins is trying to do for the lips what he did for the badonkadonk. The first single from his next CD will be “Them Lips,” which is set for release this summer.

As for the album, Trace says it’s too early to know exactly what direction it will take.  “You know I don’t set out to do theme records,” he tells metroWNY.com.  “The songs dictate where the project ends up.”

He does admit it’s not likely he’ll write much of the record himself. “It could be I have a little burn out… but I do know I haven’t written a song since I went to rehab almost five years ago,” Trace quips.
