Usher Says his Ex-Wife Hit Him, Tried to Attack his Female Friend
Photo by Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABCUsher took the stand in court on Monday, testifying that his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, swung and spit at Grace Miguel, his rumored girlfriend, while neighbors looked on.
That's according to TMZ, which posted a clip of Usher's testimony in his child custody trial with Tameka. Usher told the court that he had just walked his son Usher Raymond V to Tameka's door and was trying to leave when she began questioning why he'd parked so far from her house.
Usher says that Tameka followed him down to the vehicle where Grace was waiting inside. The singer says that Tameka opened the car door, "as she wanted to fight." Usher says Tameka told Grace, "'I'm gonna kick your ass. Bitch, get out of the car," then he says Tameka said to him, "How dare you bring this woman in my subdivision?"
Usher says Tameka was spitting, and tried to swing at Grace. He says that he eventually stood between Tameka and Grace, who was inside the car, and he says that's when his ex hit him.
Usher says that there were kids in Tameka's house who could have heard her yelling, so he says he pleaded with his ex to calm down. He eventually got in his car, and circled around a cul-de-sac to leave. Passing by Tameka's house as he fled, Usher says that his ex threw a plate of food at the car.
