Elton John reportedly is feeling better after being hospitalized last week with a "serious respiratory infection." A rep for the pop superstar gave an update on his health to ETOnline.com on Friday, revealing that John was "at home and doing well" after undergoing tests at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Elton's doctor recommended that the singer not perform for a week, leading him to cancel performances of his Las Vegas show The Million Dollar Piano from Thursday through Sunday.
In a statement announcing the postponements, Elton said, "It feels strange not to be able to perform these 'Million Dollar Piano' concerts at The Colosseum. I love performing this show and I will be thrilled when we return to The Colosseum in October to complete the eleven concerts soon to be scheduled."
Next up for John is a European tour leg that's scheduled to get under way this Friday in Wetzlar, Germany. The trek runs through a July 21 show in Nimes, France.
