Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Buys World's Fastest Convertible

StevenTyler.comSteven Tyler recently dropped a reported $1.1 million to purchase what, according to Jalopnik.com, is the "world's fastest convertible." 

The Aerosmith singer's new Hennessey Venom GT Spyder reportedly  can go from 0 to 200 miles per hour in a mere 15.9 seconds.  Only five Venom GT Spyder's will be manufactured in 2012, and the rock legend's is the only one produced as a convertible.

Sports-car builder John Hennessey says the modifications to Tyler's Venom GT added 30 pounds to the vehicle's weight, so its horsepower was increased to a whopping 1,244.

A series of photos posted online show Tyler checking out his newly-delivered wheels, along with his Aerosmith band mates Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer.
