Sublime with Rome Frontman to Release Solo EP, "Dedication", in June

Fueled By RamenRome Ramirez is ready to make his solo debut. The Sublime with Rome frontman has revealed that he will release his debut solo EP next month, titled Dedication. The EP will feature tracks that he co-wrote with a variety of songwriters and producers, including fun. lead singer Nate Ruess.

"I've been working on my solo material for almost a year now and I'm so excited to share some of the songs,” said Rome in a statement. “This EP is a taste of my forthcoming album, and just a huge step for me creatively.  I can't wait for everyone to hear it."

The title track from the EP, “Dedication,” is currently streaming over at RollingStone.com. "The song's about loving someone who is struggling with getting their life together and eventually having to move on," Rome tells Rolling Stone. "It's probably some of the most personal stuff I've put in a song." In addition, a video for the track is currently in production and is expected to debut later this summer.

While the Dedication EP will be released on June 12, Rome’s full-length debut album will arrive in stores sometime later this year. You’ll get your chance to hear the new tracks performed live when Rome appears on the Vans Warped Tour on June 21 at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, CA.
