Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton Work Hard to Have Down Time

Getty Images for ACA/Christopher Polk Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are both nominated for Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards coming up June 6, but that hasn't caused any problems at home for the couple.

"We definitely have friendly competition, but we're just lucky that we get to celebrate together," Miranda tells Parade. "We are so happy for each other because both of our careers are going so well.”

Since both of their careers are on fire right now, Blake and Miranda have to work even harder to carve out time to be together as a couple.

Miranda says, "I try to plan my schedule around when Blake’s going to be home, so we can have a little bit of normalcy.”

Miranda gets back on the road this weekend with shows in Virginia and New Jersey.
