While reports indicate that Adele's album 21 could return to #1 on the U.S. charts this week, things aren't looking so rosy for the singer in her home country. According to Britain's Official Charts Company, 21 has fallen out of the British top ten for the first time since it was released in January of 2011. It's been in the top 10 for an astonishing 72 weeks.
In the U.K., 21 has sold more than 4.3 million copies and is currently the fifth biggest seller in the history of the British album charts.
In other Adele news, an unauthorized biography of the singer will hit stores shelves next month, according to published reports. She declined to be interviewed for the project, which covers her childhood, rise to stardom, her love life, her vocal issues and more.
