"American Idol" Winner Phillip Phillips' Family's Pawn Shop Robbed

Michael Becker/FOXPhillip Phillips has had some difficult moments since he was named the new American Idol champ last month.

He was just released from the hospital after undergoing kidney surgery. Now, TMZ.com reports, his family's pawn shop in Georgia was robbed on Monday night. More than four thousand dollars' worth of goods, including handguns, jewelry and the cash register, were stolen.

Phillips and his parents have been in California due to his surgery.
