Britney's Little Sis Sings About Britney's "Loss of Innocence" in New Song

Jive RecordsBritney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn Spears is also a singer, and Thursday night in Nashville, she debuted a song that seemed to be inspired by her big sister, and how fame has affected her.

People magazine reports that during a performance at the 3rd and Lindsley Bar & Grill in Nashville, Jamie Lynn introduced the song, called "I Look Up to You," by saying, "You can imagine who I wrote it about."

The country-flavored tune's lyrics go, "Scared little girl...you've outgrown your room/it all happened way too soon/They took away your innocence/but we've still got a strong defense/you're fighting your secrets all alone."

The chorus of the song features Jamie Lynn declaring that she admires her sister no matter what.  She sings, "So whether you're a blue sky smiling/Or whether you're a grey sky crying/I look up to you, I look up to you/Whether you're the sunlight shining down/Or you hide behind a cloud/I look up to you, I look up to you."
