Woman Blames Drake for Melee at NYC Night Spot
Universal MotownA woman is blaming Drake for the brawl that happened at New York City club W.i.P. last week, and now she's threatening to sue the rapper for injuries that she suffered during the pandemonium, which is also said to have involved Chris Brown. According to TMZ, sources close to Drake deny claims pointing the finger at him.
According to TMZ, Vladimira Brace's attorney says in a letter to Drake's reps that, "Your client instigated a brawl with Mr. Chris Brown" adding that the Toronto rapper's "actions were reckless and negligent in inflaming a violent mob." TMZ reports that Vladimira's lawyer says in the letter that his client saw "several members of [Drake's] entourage throwing bottles of champagne with reckless and criminal disregard of the well-being of the innocent bystanders."
According to TMZ, Vladimira's attorney also writes that Drake has a "well documented history" of making abusive remarks about women. But a source close to Drake tells TMZ that the claim is "laughable." The source also points out that Drake was at W.i.P. with only a couple security guards, and that Chris and Meek Mill were the ones with large entourages.
The wild night's latest apparent victim, Vladimira, claims that she suffered spinal cord injuries when she was trampled at the club. She's the fourth woman to come forward with injuries in the incident. Initially, Chris and his bodyguard reported injuries. Then, NBA basketball player Tony Parker, Australian tourist Hollie C., and another VIP section patron, Lucy Pavlovsky, were listed among the injured.
