Earlier this year, there were rumors that boy band 98 Degrees would be reuniting for a tour. That rumor didn't turn out to be true, but Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre will be reuniting after all, for a single show.
The reunion -- which will mark the first time the foursome has performed together in over 10 years -- will take place at Summer MixTape Fest 2012, a two-day music festival that's being held August 17 and 18 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The guys will perform on August 18. Single-day tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on June 22 at MixTapeFestival.com and Ticketmaster.com.
In a statement, Nick Lachey said, "We are so excited to reunite and be a part of the Summer MixTape Festival. It's been over 10 years since we last performed together and there's nothing that makes us more excited than being on stage as a group." Nick added, "This will be a chance for us to see old fans and meet new ones all while singing the songs we know people love to hear."
Among the other acts appearing at the festival are Kelly Clarkson, The Fray and NKOTBSB, aka New Kids on the Block and The Backstreet Boys.
