Trisha Yearwood's Food Network Show Renewed for Second, Expanded Season

Sunshine SachsTrisha Yearwood's Food Network show, Trisha's Southern Kitchen, is coming back for a second, expanded season later this year.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will grow from six episodes to 13, and Trisha will start filming them this fall.

"It was such a great experience, and the positive response from viewers was overwhelming and truly gratifying," Trisha says of the show's first season.  "I've always believed that food brings people together.  I can't wait to share more family memories and recipes with Food Network fans."

Trisha told ABC News Radio earlier this year that her husband Garth Brooks may show up on Trisha's Southern Kitchen's second season if it was renewed.  We'll keep you posted if and when Garth appears on the show.
