Usher, Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Hudson to be Inducted into Hollywood Walk of Fame Next Year

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images via ABCNext year, two legendary boy bands, an Oscar-winning American Idol contestant and a pop superstar will receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that The Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block, Jennifer Hudson and Usher will all be honored in 2013, as will the late R&B superstar Luther Vandross and the late classic rock icon Janis Joplin.

Right now, there's no information as to where the new stars will be located, or when the stars will be awarded.  However, it's mandatory for stars to personally turn up for their ceremonies -- unless, like Luther and Janis, they are no longer with us.
