Beyonce's Daughter Now Honorary Croatian Citizen

BeyonceOnline.comBeyonce and Jay-Z's little girl Blue Ivy was born in New York City, but now she's reportedly received honorary citizenship to another country: Croatia.

Sky News Australia reports that the mayor of the Croatian city of Hvar, located on the island of the same name, decided to honor the baby because earlier this year, Beyonce posted a video of herself, taken while she was pregnant, standing in front of a tree in Hvar.  She says, "I think it's a blue ivy, which would be quite appropriate." 

Now, the mayor has reportedly sent a letter to Bey and Jay, saying, "The story of the origin of the name of your daughter has brought enormous media attention and therefore tourist promotion to the town and island of Hvar,. Because of this, I have decided to confer on your daughter the status of honorary citizen of the town of Hvar."
