Train Taps David Hasselhoff to Star in New Video
Image credit: Train via TwitterThe video for Train's new single "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" promises to be pretty unusual, because it apparently stars David Hasselhoff.
A still from the video was posted on the band's Twitter feed, and it shows The Hoff embracing Train frontman Pat Monahan -- who appears to be sobbing -- in what appears to be the produce aisle of a supermarket. The caption on the photo reads, "Why is @DavidHasselhoff comforting Pat? Find out on 6/29 when our video for '50 Ways To Say Goodbye' premieres on @VEVO."
"50 Ways to Say Goodbye" is a humorous song about a guy who gets dumped by his girlfriend, and decides that if anyone asks, he'll lie and say something terrible happened to her and that's why she's not around anymore. Among the imaginary deaths he imagines for his ex: "Fell in a cement mixer full of quicksand," "drowned in a hot tub, "eaten by a lion," "caught in a mudslide" and "run over by a crappy purple Scion."
