How Can the TSA Improve Its Image? "Stop Patting Down Beyonce"

Facebook.com/BeyonceIt's safe to say that the Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, isn't the best-loved government organization.  After all, they make you take your shoes off every time you fly, store your liquids in a baggie, and sometimes refuse to let infants on board if their names happen to coincide with someone on the "no-fly" list.  So how can the TSA make people stop hating them?  One word: Beyonce.

The Los Angeles Times reports that during a meeting of the House Homeland Security Transportation Subcommittee this week, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.) suggested that if the TSA wanted to improve its image, it should stop harassing famous people, and used Beyonce as an example.

"There are certain people that are just so well-known that you've got to use your common sense," said Rogers.  "Because if you start patting them down, people are going to say, "They're patting down Beyonce." 'I mean, she's not going to blow a plane up.'"
