Robin Thicke Debuts "All Tied Up" Video
ABC/RICK ROWELLRobin Thicke takes his brand of McSteamy to a new level in the new video for his song "All Tied Up," which debuted recently.
Shot in black and white, the video opens with Robin doing his best James Dean impression -- dressed in a leather jacket with a white T-shirt and jeans, leaning against a shadow-shrouded wall as he sings in his trademark falsetto.
Next, we see Robin about to enter an apartment or hotel room when his gaze drifts toward the woman next door. Perhaps coincidentally, she bears a striking resemblance to the real Mrs. Thicke, Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol actress Paula Patton.
In the video, the two start out in separate spaces where they seem to be preoccupied by sensuous daydreams. Robin takes a drink, while she takes a bath wearing a sparkly pair of Dr. Dre's Beat headphones. After generating a lot of body heat on their own, they wind up in the same room together.
Robin croons, "I get lonely, I get blue... all I need is your love," as he encourages his muse to lay across the pillow and "make love to my ego," in order to save and release him. By the end of the video, the sexy clothes are gone and Robin's showing off his toned abs. After the encounter, the couple seems to be cozy, or, is there a twinge of remorse for Robin when as the video fades he covers his face with his hands?
