"American Idol" Season 11 Highlights Albums Coming for $5 Each

David Livingston/Getty ImagesIf you're looking for something to put you in the mood for the upcoming American Idols Live tour, Walmart has just the thing.  On July 3, Walmart stores and Walmart.com will begin selling a series of five-track American Idol Season 11 Highlights CDs, for the low, low price of five bucks each.

Six highlights albums will be available: one each from Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Hollie Cavanaugh and Skylar Laine, plus a Duets and Trios Highlights disc rounding up some of the season's best on-stage collaborations.

Among the tracks featured on those albums: Phillip's coronation song "Home," Jessica's take on "I Will Always Love You," Joshua's showstopper "It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World," Hollie's rendition of "Rolling in the Deep" and Skylar's signature  "Gunpowder & Lead."  The Duets and Trios Highlights disc includes Jessica and Joshua's much-praised version of "I Knew You Were Waiting For Me."

In addition, fans looking for a full-length album will be able to purchase the 10-track American Idol Season 11 Top 10 Highlights, which includes songs from all three of the previously-mentioned finalists, as well as songs from Colton Dixon, Elise Testone, Deandre Brackensick, Heejun Han and Erika Van Pelt.  That one will be available at all physical retailers, not just Walmart.
