"Sesame Street's" Cookie Monster Creates His Own Version of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe"

Facebook.com/SesameStreetSesame Street resident Cookie Monster is the latest star to get into the "Call Me Maybe" viral video act.  He's redone Carly Rae Jepsen's hit as "Share It Maybe."

In the video, posted on Mashable.com, the perpetually hungry Cookie Monster is seen working in an office -- who even knew Cookie had a job? -- trying to get his furry hands on cookies and dancing with a flash mob of his office mates.

The furry blue guy sings in Cookie-speak, saying, "Hey, me just met you, and this is crazy, but you got cookie, so share it maybe."  Other lyrics include, "Me going off my rocker/please be me Betty Crocker" and "Me start to really freak out/please someone call the Girl Scouts."  Spoiler alert: Cookie does get the goods by the end of the video.

While Cookie might not have much of a voice, he does give it his all.  But Cookie's not the only Sesame Street character to do a pop song parody.  Back in January, Elmo debuted his video parody of LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It," called "I'm Elmo and I Know It."
