Baseball has always played a huge role in Kenny Chesney's life since his father was the baseball coach at the local high school. Kenny has since become friends with many ballplayers, and he sat down for an interview that appears in this year's MLB All-Star Game program. In that article, Kenny revealed that he took his father to a Yankees-Red Sox game the last year the original Yankee Stadium was still standing.
"There I was with my father in the Yankees' dugout, this very historic place where a lot of my dad's heroes sat and played," Kenny says. "It was a great father-son moment for us."
Kenny's love affair with sports continues as he presents a trophy on the 2012 Espys, airing Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
