Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney's Brothers of the Sun tour was born out of their decades-long friendship, but that doesn't mean they're partying backstage all summer long.
A stadium tour this size is a massive operation with hundreds of people working to make each show happen. Tim says, "It's really a mini-city that's moving everywhere." That means Tim and Kenny don't just run into each other backstage. Because of their personal and professional commitments apart from the tour, they're both flying in and out of each city. Often the only time they really get to hang out is during the 30 minutes that they share the stage at the end of each concert.
Tim thinks it's great that the fans get to actually see the time he and Kenny have to hang out on the road though. He says, "All of the fun that we want to have on this tour sort of shows up then."
The Brothers of the Sun tour continues this weekend with shows in Anaheim and Oakland, CA.
