Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros to Play Benefit Concert for California Nursery School in September
Vagrant RecordsEdward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are doing their part to support education. The band has scheduled a benefit concert at Libbey Bowl in Ojai, CA on September 6, with all proceeds going to The Ojai Valley Community Nursery School. Tickets for the show will run you $40 and are available now at TicketWeb.com.
"We are really excited to play in Ojai, a place that hosted the making of our last album," said frontman Alex Ebert in a statement. "What a wonderful thing to be able to give back to this special community with this benefit concert."
In addition, the band is giving you the chance to win some cash for creating their next official music video. To participate in the contest, you’ll need to submit your own video creation for any song from their recently-released album, Here. The grand prize winner of the contest will receive $5,000, while two runner up winners will receive $1,000 each. Entries for the contest must be submitted before August 31.
