Gloriana Paying Dues on the Road After Sweet Start on Taylor Swift Tour

Warner/EmblemGloriana landed one of music's most coveted gigs when they hit the country scene in 2010 -- an opening spot on Taylor Swift's Fearless tour. That opportunity put them in front of a lot of fans, but Gloriana's Rachel Reinert admits that opening for Taylor made it very easy for them on the road.

"I think, basically, that kind of really skewed our whole idea of what road life is like, because we got so spoiled getting to play in front of sold-out crowds every single day," Rachel tells MSN's Wonderwall.  "[We went] from that to really having to pay our dues, as far as playing some harder shows and having to figure out how to win a crowd over."

Gloriana's days of paying dues is now paying off with a top-10 hit, "(Kissed You) Good Night." It's the lead single from their sophomore album, A Thousand Miles Left Behind, due out July 31.
