Sunny Sweeney Plays Grand Ole Opry for the 30th Time

Republic NashvilleSunny Sweeney scored her first top-10 hit last year with "From a Table Away," and now she's hit another big milestone. Sunny played the Grand Ole Opry for the 30th time this past weekend.

"Every time I play there it feels like the first time and I cannot get enough of being there," Sunny says. "I'm in awe of its history and how gracious all the members are to new, young artists like myself."

Country legend Larry Gatlin introduced Sunny for her latest Opry appearance. She's currently writing songs for the follow up to her previous album, Concrete.
