Katy Perry at Center of Indecency Complaint in India

Britain’s The Sun reports the lawyer is pursuing an indecency complaint against Katy and an Australian cricket player named Doug Bollinger, stemming from their appearance at an Indian Premier League cricket event in India in April. The lawyer apparently takes exception to Bollinger having put his arms around Katy to demonstrate a cricket move.

The lawyer argues that the incident was "obscene and lascivious" and "distracted students who were writing exams at the time." The complaint will be heard in an Indian court on July 31.

Katy and Bollinger have not been charged in connection with the complaint, and they do not have to appear in court.
