Bob Dylan Lines Up Fall North American Tour with Mark Knopfler
Legacy RecordingsLast year, Bob Dylan and ex-Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler teamed up for a joint European tour and the two stars are now ready to bring their act to North America in the fall. Knopfler will open all dates of the upcoming trek, which kicks off October 5 in Winnipeg, Canada, and is mapped put through a November 21 concert in Brooklyn, New York.
Both artists will be promoting brand-new albums on the trek. Dylan's Tempest will arrive on September 11, while Knopler's Privateering will be released in the U.K. on September 3. Knopfler currently is treating fans to a preview of his album. He's streaming a song called "Redbud Tree" in its entirety at his official website.
