Rascal Flatts is playing to huge crowds all this summer on their Changed tour, and group member Jay DeMarcus says being on that stage is a "huge high" and "better than any drug you could ever be on." It's really the connection they share with the fans all singing along with each song that makes it special.
Jay tells CMT Insider, "You know by the way they're singing it back that it's affected their life in some way. That's the ultimate reward as an artist for me."
Rascal Flatts continues their Changed tour this weekend with shows in St. Louis and Chicago.
Of note, Jay and his wife Allison welcomed a baby boy named Dylan Jay on Friday. He joins his older stister Madeline in the family.
