Angie Stone Announces "Rich Girl" Album

AngieStoneMusic.comAngie Stone will release a brand new album this fall.  Her camp made the official announcement this week, revealing that the set, titled Rich Girl, is scheduled to arrive in stores on September 25. 

The first single from the album is Angie's latest hit, "Do What U Gotta Do," which was written by Sunday Best season two winner Y’anna Crawley.  Angie says in a statement that she knew "off the bat" that the song was for her.  "It was speaking to my spirit, it resolved some situations about music I had in my mind," Angie says.  "It was telling me to keep my head up, saying 'you can make it and do what you gotta do,' giving me the beginning of the new album and the resolve to make it into something beyond anything I had ever done before."

A video for "Do What U Gotta Do," was released earlier this month.

Rich Girl is Angie's sixth studio album.  It's the follow-up to 2009's Unexpected.
