Neil Diamond Donating Money to Fund for Colorado Shooting Victims

The pop legend announced Thursday via a Twitter message that all the money raised from sales of merchandise at his concert that night in Denver will be donated to GivingFirst.org's Aurora Victim Relief Fund.
Diamond added a follow-up tweet requesting that fans who couldn't make it to the show still consider contributing to the charity. According to TheDenverChannel.com, nearly $2 million have been raised so far for the Aurora Victim Relief Fund.
Twelve people were killed and dozens more were injured in the early morning of Friday, July 20, when a lone gunman opened fire at an Aurora cinema during a midnight screening of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.
