Pitbull Takes a Bite of Florida Sandwich Chain to Become Co-Owner

Facebook.com/PitbullPitbull has sunk his teeth into a new venture. 

On Wednesday, the rapper announced his partial ownership in one of Florida's biggest sandwich chains, the New Miami Subs Grill -- which offers some pretty cool, fast food dining options including Dom Perignon on the menu in select locations.  Mr. Worldwide delivered the news during a fourth and final webisode as part of a sweepstakes contest where fans have a chance to win a lunch with Pitbull at a Miami Sub shop.

"When you think about music, it's an international language.  When you think about food, it brings everybody together in the same way," Pit says, adding that pairing with the sandwich shop is "an honor... [and] blessing."   In the webisode, Pit details his goal to help take the regional sandwich shop global.

The business partnership is not a first for Pitbull who also has his own line of Voli vodka and a partnership with Sheets dissolvable energy strips.

Customers can look forward to Pit's musical influence and a Latin-infused menu in the chain's future, says Miami Subs' CEO Richard Chwatt.
