Toni Braxton Good Fit for "American Idol" Judges Panel?

AtlanticThe folks behind American Idol already have Mariah Carey signed on as a judge for the upcoming 12th season, but does the judges panel have room for one more R&B star?  Rumor has it that Toni Braxton's name has surfaced as a potential judge.

Sister2Sister magazine reports that a source who works for Simon Cowell claims that Idol producers were overheard discussing their plan to add Toni to the show.  "When I overheard the producers during a candid conversation regarding having two black, female judges for the first [time] in the history of the show, I almost jumped out of my skin," the insider tells Sister2Sister.

Toni is one of a handful of stars who've been rumored to be joining the American Idol judges panel.  In addition to Mariah, original judge Randy Jackson is expected to return for the 12th season.
