Slash Releases Interactive "SLASH360" App

ABC News RadioSlash fans can now experience his second solo album with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Apocalyptic Love, in a whole new way. The ex-Guns N’ Roses guitarist has released an interactive app where users can watch the band perform the album -- in its entirety -- through the virtual eyes of six 360-degree spherical, panoramic cameras.

"We recorded this album live, as we played it," said Slash in a statement.  "The app captures the energy of the band in the best way and [it] allows fans to experience the album just as if they were in the room with us."

Two versions of the SLASH360 app are available on iTunes.  The introductory version includes only one performance, "You're a Lie," along with lyrics and links to other content.  That app will run you 99 cents.  The full version, which costs $4.99, includes the entire performance of Apocalyptic Love along with exclusive photos, lyrics and other extras.
