Art Garfunkel Returning to the Concert Stage Starting Next Month

Facebook.com/OfficialArtGarfunkelPageArt Garfunkel has scheduled 10 solo U.S. tour dates that are sprinkled throughout the calendar from next month until the late fall.  The shows will mark the revered folk-rock singer's first full performances since vocal-cord problems forced him to postpone a planned 2010 trek with his old musical partner Paul Simon.

Garfunkel did appear at a one-off Rolling Stones tribute concert this past March at New York City's Carnegie Hall.

His itinerary kicks off with an August 11 concert in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and is mapped out through a December 10 performance in Skokie, Illinois.  As previously reported, Garfunkel will release a career-spanning, two-CD compilation titled The Singer on August 28.
