Facebook.com/SnoopDoggSnoop Dogg has been banned from Norway for the next two years after he was caught last month entering the country with marijuana, reports the BBC.
The rapper was busted at an airport in Kristiansand, Norway, on June 28 after customs officers found he was carrying eight grams of marijuana. He was also found at the time to be carrying more cash than is legally allowed to be brought into Norway.
Snoop admitted guilt to the two offenses and was fined $8,600. He was allowed to continue on his way to Norway’s Hove Festival, where he performed.
Snoop, whose birth name is Calvin Broadus, has no immediate plans to appeal his ban, according to his lawyer.
Later this year, the rapper will release an album of reggae songs under the name Snoop Lion.
