Maroon 5 Already Working on Next Album
Press Here PublicityMaroon 5's new album Overexposed just debuted at #2 on the Billboard album chart, but the band is already thinking ahead to their next record.
Guitarist James Valentine tells Billboard, "All we really are interested in doing now is working on music. Usually we'd be on tour and have fun and come back home and use that time to make a record. Now I think we're just at a point where we feel like there's more music in us than that."
James says that the band is "working on a lot of stuff," and predicts that their next album is "going to be ready a lot sooner than our previous records."
There was a five-year gap between Maroon 5's first and second albums, and a three-year gap between their second and third. However, it only took them two years to come up with Overexposed, so it appears that the gaps are narrowing.
